Code execution via unauthorized DLL loading
Published May 6, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Code integrity failure in TOBESOFT XPLATFORM 9.2.2 through 9.2.2.260 allows local users to execute code via a malicious DLL. The runtime accepts and loads an unauthorized DLL without verifying that the downloaded code is trusted and intact. Exploitation requires user interaction and executes attacker-controlled code with the privileges of the affected XPLATFORM process.
