Unauthenticated configuration changes via SNMP credential weakness

Authentication bypass in B&R Automation Runtime 2.96, 3.00 through 3.10, and 4.00 through 4.72 allows remote attackers to modify device configuration via SNMP. The SNMP service uses a hardcoded account name without a password and transmits data in plaintext, allowing unauthenticated write operations. Attackers able to reach an Ethernet interface can alter settings that disrupt or sever network communications, producing denial of service.
