CVE-2019-19107

Credential disclosure via plaintext configuration responses

Published Apr 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Cleartext password exposure in the integrated web server of ABB TG/S 3.2 and Busch-Jaeger 6186/11 allows attackers to read credentials. The user-profile and Services configuration pages return password values while relying on an HTML password-field attribute only to mask their display. Access to the gateway's LAN-connected configuration interface is required; exposure is limited to credentials returned by those pages.
