Credential disclosure via cleartext Redis storage
Published Apr 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Credential storage weakness in Hitachi Energy eSOMS 6.0 through 6.0.2 allows local users to read cleartext credentials. The Redis data structure component stores eSOMS credentials without cryptographic protection in filesystem-accessible data. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to that storage and exposes credentials without causing a reported service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
