CVE-2019-19001Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via frameable application pages

Published Apr 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Clickjacking in Hitachi Energy eSOMS 4.0 through 6.0.2 allows remote attackers to expose credentials through a framed web interface. HTTP responses omit X-Frame-Options, allowing an attacker-controlled site to embed application pages in a concealed frame and redirect a user's clicks. Exploitation requires a user with an active eSOMS session to visit and interact with the malicious page; the reported consequence is disclosure of sensitive user information, including authentication credentials.
