Weak credential storage in TeamViewer Desktop through 14.7.1965 allows local users to decrypt protected Windows registry values. The client encrypts OptionsPasswordAES and related stored secrets with the same AES-128-CBC key and initialization vector across installations. Existing local access is usually required, while exposed configuration backups can be decrypted elsewhere; legacy static session passwords are affected only when the non-default unattended-access setting is enabled.
