CVE-2019-18945

Privilege escalation through undisclosed Application Repository flaw

Published Feb 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Privilege escalation in OpenText Solutions Business Manager before 11.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain unauthorized application privileges. The vendor identifies Application Repository as the affected component but has not published the flawed operation or attacker-controlled input that causes the privilege change. Exploitation requires low privileges, adjacent-network access, high complexity, and user interaction; confidentiality and integrity can be compromised without availability impact.
