Unauthenticated telnet exposure via undocumented HTTP request
Published May 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Missing authentication in D-Link DAP-1360 Fx firmware 6.13EUb01 and earlier allows remote attackers to enable the telnet daemon. The web interface processes an undocumented HTTP request by starting telnet without checking authorization, exposing a remote shell service that is otherwise disabled. No credentials or user interaction are required; firmware through 6.12b01 also uses weak root credentials that grant remote root access, while later affected firmware still exposes telnet.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
