Management console access via session hijacking
Published Apr 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Session hijacking in Broadcom ASG and ProxySG management consoles allows remote attackers to access an active user's console session. Broadcom has not disclosed the request, token-handling error, or other management-console mechanism that permits one session to be substituted for another. Exploitation requires network access to the appliance management interface and a currently logged-in user, and it grants that user's console privileges.
