Adjacent communication interception via missing mutual authentication

Improper authentication in BIOTRONIK CardioMessenger II-S T4APP 2.20 allows adjacent attackers to influence remote-monitoring communications. The connection setup fails to verify both endpoints, permitting a fake mobile base station to interfere with the device-to-gateway exchange. Adjacent radio access or physical device access is required; the exposed path cannot decrypt or forge patient data, alter the device, or interrupt service.
