Web-server failure via repeated short-term requests
Published Mar 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Denial of service in Moxa ioLogik 2500 firmware 3.0 and earlier and IOxpress 2.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to halt the web server. Frequent, repeated short-term requests cause the affected web server to fail, but Moxa does not identify the request handler or underlying resource-exhaustion mechanism. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation interrupts web-management availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
