Authenticated stored XSS in form fields
Published Apr 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
ZOOM International Call Recording 6.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute stored script in other users' browser sessions through multiple administrative forms and configuration fields. The application stores unescaped phoneNumber, name, number, tagKey, tagValue, VemailAddress, and VemailFrom values and later renders them without adequate output encoding. Exploitation requires a valid account and a victim to view the affected pages; the demonstrated impact is cross-site scripting with confidentiality and integrity effects in the victim's web session.
