Authentication bypass via null-byte path processing

Authentication bypass in NETGEAR AC1200 R6220 firmware 1.1.0.86 allows remote attackers to bypass access checks via a crafted path. The mini_httpd path handler accepts a null byte in a requested path and stops authentication processing before most access checks run. The request requires no credentials but must originate from an adjacent network; successful exploitation bypasses authentication on the system.
