Credential capture via stored report-name HTML injection
Published Jan 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
HTML injection in Zoho ManageEngine Desktop Central 10.0.430 allows remote authenticated users to plant credential-capture content in reports. The New Custom Report workflow stores the requestname Report Name value without neutralizing HTML and renders it when custom reports are opened. A valid console account is required to plant the payload, and another user must open the reports page before a forged form can capture credentials.
