Authenticated sensitive-data disclosure through debug logs
Published Mar 13, 2020 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Information exposure in Fortinet FortiWeb 6.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data through CLI debug commands. The diagnose debug facility emits sensitive application information into CLI-visible debug output without adequately restricting its contents. Debug logging must be enabled during relevant application activity, and the resulting disclosure is limited to information present in that output.
