CVE-2019-16154Network attack vector

Unauthenticated script execution via unsanitized logon parameter

Published Jan 7, 2020 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Fortinet FortiAuthenticator OWA Agent 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a logon parameter. The login page inserts an attacker-controlled parameter into generated HTML without adequately neutralizing executable content; Fortinet has not identified the parameter or code locus. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted request for script to execute in the OWA page's browser context.
