Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in NETSAS Enigma NMS 65.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The protected manage_files.cgi endpoint accepts PHP content through its file-management upload functions without restricting dangerous file types. Low-privileged credentials are required; an uploaded file can execute under the web server's authority and provide control of the host.
