Unauthenticated root command execution via unchecked port
Published Sep 16, 2019 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Command injection in D-Link DNS-320 2.05.B10 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute root commands via SSL Login. The login_mgr.cgi handler uses the attacker-controlled port parameter in command execution without restricting it to an integer. Exploitation requires network access to the appliance web interface, but no credentials or user interaction, and grants control over appliance commands and stored files.
