Improper input validation in the API of Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem before 7-201910 allows remote attackers to alter user accounts. The API accepts crafted HTTP requests without validating account fields before changing or corrupting stored user information. No authentication is required; successful exploitation grants administrator access or blocks legitimate web-interface logins.
