Browser script execution via crafted management link
Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager before 19.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via crafted links. The web UI insufficiently validates user-supplied input, so a crafted link executes arbitrary script code in the interface's browser context. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and a management-interface user to click the link; it can alter displayed content and expose sensitive browser information.
