Code execution via unvalidated SOAP parameter
Published Jan 6, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
SQL injection in Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.3(1) allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The DbInventoryWSService/DbInventoryWS service uses the first getEndPortConnectionsForStorageSystem parameter to construct SQL queries without validation. Administrative DCNM privileges are required; exploitation can expose or alter data or execute code as SYSTEM.
