Authenticated command injection via crafted API input
Published Jan 6, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Command injection in Cisco Data Center Network Manager before 11.3(1) allows remote authenticated administrators to execute OS commands. The REST API fails to sufficiently validate user-supplied input, so a crafted request reaches operating-system command execution. Administrative application privileges are required; successful exploitation can fully compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
