Privilege escalation in Maarch RM before 2.5 allows remote authenticated users to gain highest administrative privileges via a crafted PUT request. Resource authorization handling accepts a PUT request from a lowest-privileged account for a resource that the account is not authorized to modify. A valid lowest-privileged account is required; exploitation converts that account to the highest administrative privilege level.
