CVE-2019-15655Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated password disclosure via configuration export

Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Information disclosure in D-Link DSL-2875AL firmware through 1.00.05 allows remote attackers to obtain the device password via the web server. The web management server serves /romfile.cfg without authentication, exporting the device configuration with its password stored in cleartext. Network reachability to the management interface is sufficient, and the consequence is limited to disclosure of credentials stored in the exported file.
