Restricted pipeline disclosure via wrong project authorization
Published Feb 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Information disclosure in GitLab 12.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted pipeline details through a merge request endpoint. MergeRequestsController#pipelines uses the wrong project as its permission reference when returning the merge request's head pipeline. Access to the merge request is sufficient even when the user lacks permission to read the associated restricted pipeline.
