CVE-2019-15253Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-authenticated script execution via stored XSS

Published Feb 5, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Stored XSS in the Cisco Catalyst Center web interface before 1.3.0.6 or 1.3.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The interface stores user-supplied input without sufficient validation and later renders it in another user's browser; Cisco has not identified the affected field or endpoint. Administrator credentials and a persuaded interface user are required, and exploitation exposes browser-held information or executes script in the interface context.
