CVE-2019-14852Network attack vector

Traffic disclosure via enabled TLS 1.0

Published Mar 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Weak TLS configuration in Red Hat APIcast as shipped with 3scale API Management Platform allows man-in-the-middle attackers to decrypt traffic. The gateway listener enables TLS 1.0, permitting negotiation of a deprecated protocol whose cryptographic weaknesses can expose protected application data. Exploitation requires a position from which traffic can be intercepted and cryptanalyzed; the documented consequence is unauthorized disclosure, not traffic modification or service interruption.
