Authentication bypass in Red Hat build of Keycloak before 8.0.0 allows remote attackers to take over service accounts via password reset. ClientManager.enableServiceAccount and clientIdChanged assign each service account a predictable [email protected] address rather than leaving email unset. Control of placeholder.org mail and knowledge of a client name are sufficient to reset credentials and log in with that service account.
