CVE-2019-14830Network attack vector

Mobile token exposure via open redirect

Published Mar 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Open redirect in Moodle LMS 3.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to expose mobile access tokens via crafted mobile launch URLs. The mobile launch endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled destination and redirects the browser without restricting the target scheme or host. Exploitation requires mobile service enabled, no forced URL scheme, and a login method other than “via the app”; user interaction with the link is required and the impact is token disclosure.
