Unauthenticated FTP disclosure via hard-coded credential
Published Mar 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Ricoh SP C250DN 1.05 firmware allow remote attackers to read information from shared FTP folders. The firmware embeds a fixed credential for the printer's FTP service, causing the service to accept the same password on affected devices. Possession of the embedded credential is the only reported gate, and the resulting access is limited to information exposed through the shared FTP folders.
