Out-of-bounds read via truncated WLAN country IE
Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in the WLAN handler in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows remote attackers to read memory beyond a truncated country IE. The receive path trusts a length shorter than the country information element it expects and accesses bytes beyond the received field. The crafted WLAN element must reach the affected chipset's receive path; public vendor material does not specify which memory becomes exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
