CVE-2019-14104

Memory disclosure and crash via unchecked context pointer

Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera firmware allows local users to disclose memory or crash affected devices. The camera component dereferences an invalid context pointer without first checking it for null, causing a slab-out-of-bounds access. Low privileges and no user interaction are required; Qualcomm identifies APQ8053, SC8180X, SDX55, and SM8150 as affected.
