Buffer over-read via task-count integer overflow

Integer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon diagnostic services allows local users to trigger a buffer over-read through a crafted request packet. The diagnostic command handler uses an attacker-supplied number-of-tasks field whose large value overflows an integer before the handler processes the request. Low-privileged local access is required; Qualcomm has not publicly detailed whether the over-read discloses data, crashes a service, or enables further corruption.
