Out-of-bounds read in Qualcomm Snapdragon MKV parsing allows remote attackers to disclose memory or crash affected devices via crafted files. The closed-source parser reads codec-private data without checking that the declared length remains within the input buffer. Exploitation requires an affected chipset to parse a malformed MKV file; no authentication or user interaction is required.
