Local compromise via unvalidated route rule ID

Improper input validation in the Qualcomm Snapdragon IPA driver allows local users to read or alter protected data and interrupt service. The route-add-rule IOCTL accepts a rule ID without validating it before placing the identifier on the IPA hardware commit list. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to a device containing an affected chipset, and no user interaction is required.
