Cleartext credential transmission in Voo-branded NETGEAR CG3700b firmware 2.02.03 allows attackers to recover router credentials. The administrative interface places the base64-encoded HTTP Basic username and password on an unencrypted default HTTP connection. Attackers must be able to sniff traffic on the router's local network; recovered credentials permit access to its administrative interface.
