User impersonation via improperly sanitized request

Improper request sanitization in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 SP1, 2016, and 2019 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate another user. SharePoint accepts specially crafted request input without sufficient sanitization, causing the server to handle it under another SharePoint user's identity. A valid account and network access to an affected server are required; successful exploitation permits actions with the impersonated user's privileges.
