Buffer overflows in the IPP service of Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw 2R7_2000.001.701 allow remote attackers to crash the device. The IPP service mishandles specially crafted requests, allowing request data to exceed memory-buffer boundaries; the affected fields and routines are undisclosed. No authentication or user interaction is required; NCC Group confirmed the crash and reported arbitrary code execution as an unconfirmed additional outcome.
