Incorrect access control in GitLab Community and Enterprise Edition 9.2 through 12.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to access uploaded files. The unsaved-personal-snippet upload path assigns incorrect permissions, leaving its files reachable before the snippet is saved; GitLab has not published the responsible code locus or exact failed check. Low-privilege network access is required, and access is limited to uploaded files associated with unsaved personal snippets.
