Root command execution via SOAP MAC parameter

OS command injection in NETGEAR Nighthawk X10-R9000 firmware before 1.0.4.26 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The AdvancedQoS:GetCurrentBandwidthByMAC SOAP action passes the NewDeviceMAC value into a shell command, where a quote and metacharacter escape the intended argument and an HTTP-header environment variable supplies the payload. Direct exploitation requires QoS, Advanced QoS, and a valid authentication JWT; chaining CVE-2019-12510 bypasses those gates and yields an interactive root shell, including through DNS rebinding.
