Address bar spoofing in Opera through 53 on Android allows remote attackers to display a spoofed URL via mishandled Unicode directionality. The address-bar rendering path mishandles right-to-left Unicode characters and the first-strong-character rule when processing numerical IP addresses or alphabetic strings, causing the displayed origin to differ from the actual destination. Exploitation requires a victim to load attacker-controlled web content; the consequence is deceptive URL presentation that can support phishing, without evidence of direct browser data modification.
