OS command injection in Poly HDX firmware before 3.1.14 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands as root via CSR fields. The administrator web interface passes CN and other certificate-signing-request values into a shell script argument without neutralizing quotes or other shell metacharacters. Administrator access to the web UI is required, and successful exploitation grants full operating-system privileges on the appliance.
