CVE-2019-11292Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unredacted query-parameter logging

Published Jan 8, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Sensitive-data logging in Pivotal Ops Manager allows remote authenticated users to read credentials supplied in URL query parameters. Affected releases write every query parameter verbatim to the Tomcat access file instead of excluding or redacting authentication values. Exposure requires authentication data in a query string and access to that log; the published mechanism does not alter data or interrupt service.
