Hard-coded credentials in Xerox AltaLink B8000 and C8000 firmware allow remote attackers to gain unauthorized device access. The firmware provisions two accounts with weak fixed passwords and provides no administrative control to disable either account. Network reachability and knowledge of the embedded credentials are required; published material does not disclose the accounts' exact privileges.
