Prototype pollution in undefsafe before 2.0.3 allows attackers to modify Object.prototype through a crafted property path. The a function follows inherited proto path segments and assigns the supplied value without requiring each segment to be an own property. A calling application must pass an attacker-controlled path and value; the resulting process-wide properties can alter downstream application behavior.
