CVE-2019-10790Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Data disclosure via forged internal record index

Published Feb 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Improper input validation in TaffyDB 2.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read any database item via a crafted query. When a query supplies the predictable ___id and ___s internal properties, the query path trusts the forged index and skips every other condition. Exposure requires an application to pass attacker-controlled objects into TaffyDB queries; successful use directly discloses the indexed record.
