CVE-2019-10784Public exploitNetwork attack vector

System command execution via unprotected cross-origin requests

Published Feb 4, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

CSRF in phpPgAdmin 7.12.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute system commands by luring a logged-in administrator to a malicious page. database.php accepts state-changing requests with the administrator's session because phpPgAdmin does not enforce restrictive SameSite behavior on its session cookie. Exploitation requires an active administrator session and browser interaction; successful requests execute commands with server-side privileges.
