Sandbox escape in Patrik Simek vm2 before 3.6.11 allows attackers to execute arbitrary host code through crafted JavaScript. The value-conversion paths return a host RangeError to sandbox code without contextifying it, exposing its constructor chain and process.mainModule. Execution requires an application to run attacker-controlled JavaScript in vm2; successful escape permits child_process creation with the host process's privileges.
