CVE-2019-10602

Local memory corruption via freed composer object

Published Jan 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon display HW composer allows local users to corrupt heap memory during Validate/Present calls. The composer accesses a heap object after its lifetime ends while processing the display validation and presentation sequence. Successful exploitation requires local low-privileged access and exposes or alters protected data or interrupts affected-device operation.
