CVE-2019-1032Network attack vector

Authenticated browser script execution via unsanitized request

Published Jun 12, 2019 · Updated May 20, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and 2019 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a crafted web request. Microsoft has not published the affected request handler or parameter; the disclosed mechanism is improper sanitization of an attacker-crafted web request. A victim must interact with the request, after which the script runs in that user's browser context and can read unauthorized content or perform SharePoint actions as that user.
